Who We Are

In The Way grew out of the Charismatic Community of St. Barnabas Parish in Bellmore, New York where we provide music support to the weekly prayer meetings. Over time we have branched out to serve other communities and play in other venues.

While the core members of the band are a constant, various venues add more members and bigger sounds. More information about the members of the group is available on our Band Biographies page.

Our Band News page also provides information about upcoming events and reviews of past events that has had In The Way participation.

John Finelli from In The Way was the special guest on John Palmer's new radio program on WGBB 1240am on January 29th. He spoke of the inspiration for his songwriting and played a few songs. John Palmers program will be airing each Saturday at 10:00am, tune and be inspired.

I am preparing the web-site to host our Lenten day-by-day reflections. Come by each day and experience the "Words of Jesus" as recorded in the Gospel of Mathew. Each day another quote from our Lord and Saviour, directly speaking to us... Come and reflect on each day's quotation and let the words of Christ change your life...

Our website many not look too different, but we have a new hosting firm with much more reliable and proven service. The site has been off-line for a while as we made the transition to the new provider. I have many updates to make on the pages to bring them up-to-date now that we are back online. Please bear with us as we reconstruct our site.

We are praying for PEACE in our world. May the hostilities between all peoples find resolution without violence through the intercession of our Lord.

We pray that our nation makes the right choices in working toward fulfilling the will of God for our world. As we steep ourselves in prayer, may we find guidance and wisdom and follow the lead of our faith.

Youth Worship Workshop: Our Youth Worship Workshop continues. We have been working with the teens at St. Brigid's's parish in Westbury since June of 2006.
