The Theology of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Father Rene Tapel has a doctorate degree in scriptural theology.  A native of the Philippines, he has study scripture and theology all over the world.  He spent time at St. Barnabas in Bellmore, NY where we came to know and love his warm, gentle and humble manner.   He is currently serving as Associate Pastor at St. Joseph parish in Ronkonkoma, NY.  

We were fortunate to have him speak to a assembly at a Charismatic Renewal Center held August 14, 2006 at St. Barnabas.  In this talk he explains how we are continually baptized in the Holy Spirit as we live in the Spirit.    Seven times the Bible mentions being Baptized in the Spirit, each time as an action not an event.  It
